Ad-supported Software Earning

So far so good! The earning from software advertising is encouraging. The CPM is between $1.5 ~ $3. I watched it daily. It is higher from Wednesday through Sunday, ok on Monday and Tuesday. Maybe users are usually stressful in the early week, so no interests in shopping.

Younexus.com sent payment to my Paypal account. Paypal charges me 2.9%. I asked younexus to send payment to my bank account. They said that would require fees.

Issue with codecall.net

I used to use codecall.net to ask tech questions or answer other people's question. I have over 100 posts. But recently some thing make me disappointed so much. I decided to move to stackoverflow.com. The thing I do not like codecall is sometime I have to use a URL link in my post to reference something. For example, links to experts-exchange, those links were always deleted.

They are too sensitive with links. Internet is a place for people to connect with each other. Codecall.net just like people to connect to them, but not connecting to other sites. No sense at all.

Younexus removes barrier for software to use ad-supported model

Many developers like me have been thinking about converting paid shareware to ad-supported software which is free. As the blog indicated, I have issues to find advertisers and manage ads by myself. I tried to contact some merchant who usually spending millions dollars on advertising. Most of time my emails or calls were ignored. Some small websites likes to take a try. But the ads from small companies are not stable. And once the advertiser stops the campaign, it is hard for me to stop ads in software immediately.

I tried to manage ads in server end, but that is a lot of work. It is not my strength either. I did not really do that.

Using Younexus solution would be easy. Like other people said, developers don't need to worry about finding advertisers anymore. Just connect with them, then ready to go.

The other part I like younexus.com solution is its security consideration. Younexus does clean and safe advertising which is very important for my reputation. They do not allow software to do any pop ups. Very critical thinking!
